Brussels Visitor Information

Brussels is widely known to be the home of NATO and the European Union. As well as having significant diplomatic importance, Brussels is famous for being the home- town of the 'Muscles from Brussels', Hollywood’s kickboxing icon, Jean Claude van Damme.

Places to see whilst in Brussels could include the Grand Place where you could enjoy sightseeing in style aboard a horse drawn carriage. There is the magnificent Royal Palace to take in as well as wondering which of the six opera houses in the city you would prefer to go to during your stay. Lots of museums to visit here include the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Ancient Art and the Early Musical Instrument Museum.

Belgium is famous for its chocolate, so what better excuse is there than to pay a visit to the Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate. Here you will find out how it is made as you breath in those heavenly aromas and then taste chocolate until you have had your fill! Don’t be too jealous of those lucky local children having their birthday parties here.
